Illegal alien Roberto Castillo, 19, piloting his big pickup truck down the road under the influence of alcohol, plowed into a Mustang on August 21, 2011 in Brenham, Texas. The four people in the Mustang died at the scene while Castillo ran into a nearby mobile home park and tried to hide.
Castillo had been arrested on July 30 for drunken driving, but was released back into the community. Apparently he didn’t learn his lesson, so four people are dead. Part of the blame rests squarely on the shoulders of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) who, according to local law enforcement, wouldn’t take custody of him:
“At that time, ICE was only taking Class B and above (offenders). This was a Class C misdemeanor.”
