A group of southern Arizona ranchers visited the state Legislature in Phoenix on January 27 to impress upon the legislators the dire emergency that is occurring on the border.
“We need help down here,” said cattle rancher Dan Bell. “The place has just gotten out of hand.”
An Arizona State Senate committee passed a bill supporting the rancher’s “restore our border” plan. The bill was named “Rob’s Plan” in remembrance of rancher Robert Krentz, murdered on his own land last year by a suspected illegal alien. The ranchers want the US military deployed to the border, 3000 more Border Patrol agents, more video surveillance, the creation of citizen advisory boards, and more.
Sounds good to me. Where do I sign up?
